Formatting guidelines for essays:
- For in-class PRC papers, no cover page or reference page is needed.
- For the FINAL DRAFT, a cover page is needed – use the Assignment Template related to the paper (above) and complete ALL pages prior to turning it in. There are four pages in total. The first page is a cover page/checklist; the second page is where you type your essay; the third page is the PRC reflection journal; the fourth page is the rubric. ALL pages (except the rubric) must be present and completed for the final draft submission. See the Weekly file for more details!
- Title – (suggests the subject, and sparks interest; expresses main point)
- bold, centered on the page, followed by the body text
- capitalize content words (not articles, prepositions, etc. unless they begin the title)
- no quotations or underlining of title (The Leaves of Summer)
- is not a sentence (is usually only four or five words long)
